Michigan Facing Murder Charges After Killing His Parents For Asking Him To Turn Off A Video

A 28 year old Michigan man is in custody after he stabbed his mother and step father to death after they asked him to turn off his video game Friday night in Michigan.
According to reports Christopher McKinney,28 stabbed his 66 year old mother and 71 year old stepfather, after they asked him to turn off a video he was watching in their room so they could go to bed.
Officers were called to and apartment complex in Madison Heights where they found the mother and stepfather covered in blood.
Apparently McKinney became upset when his parents asked him to turn off the video and they began arguing. During the argument McKinney pulled out a knife and Egan cutting and stabbing both parents.
All three were transported to a nearby hospital where his mother and stepfather died from their injuries.
When officers tried to arrest McKinney he resisted and spit on them.
Once in custody he was charged with two counts of assault with intent to murder and two counts of resisting or assaulting police.
Murder charges are expected to be included.
He’s being held on a $510,000 cash bond.
