A shooting in North Dallas left one man injured and another man dead Wednesday afternoon.
Officers responded to a shooting call on 12121 Abrams Rd and when they arrived they found James Burks,33 deceased from a gunshot wound.
The suspect and victim got into some sort of altercation before he shot the victim and fled the scene.
The suspect was described as a black male around 28 years old, short Mohawk haircut, last seen wearing a dark hoodie and black pants.
Witnesses say he jumped in a silver 4 door sedan before fleeing the scene.
This investigation is ongoing.
