One person is dead and another injured after a road rage incident in Fort Worth.
A double shooting took place on Saturday.
Police were dispatched to the 4400 block of Wayside Ave. in reference to a shooting call.
When they arrived, officers found a man and a woman both with gunshot wounds. Both victims were taken to area hospitals for treatment.
The woman’s condition is unknown but she is currently undergoing treatment. The man, however, succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.
Detectives concluded that the shooting was a result of an earlier road rage incident at a nearby fast food restaurant.
One vehicle followed the other to a residence where the shooting occurred. The suspect is cooperating with homicide detectives in this investigation.
There have not been any arrests at this time.
