Sam Houston High School Teacher Arrested And Charged With Improper Relationships With Several Students

25-year-old Anthony Hawkins, an ex-teacher at Sam Houston High School, in Arlington, Texas, has been apprehended. This comes after he was accused of having an improper relationship with several students.

On Tuesday, September 5, Hawkins was arrested by authorities with the Arlington Police Department’s Crimes Against Children Unit.

An investigation began on Aug. 23, 2023, when administrators found out about the accusations. Following that, they contacted authorities.

The department has noted that they won’t be releasing an abundance of information regarding the case because of the sensitive subject matter and the ages of the victims. However, they did say that are three victims.

Hawkins has been placed in the Arlington City Jail and is facing three counts of Improper Relationship Between Student and Educator, and two counts of Indecency with a Child Sexual Contact.
