Sewing Needle Found In Halloween Candy

3.1kviews

Ohio police are investigating after a sewing needle was found inside two pieces of candy distributed during trick or treating.
The incident happened on October 30 during a citywide trick or treat in Fosteria.
Police say a sewing needle was found in two pieces of candy, which was confirmed through an X-ray.
Police Chief Keith Loreno said in a statement, “Although we only are aware of 2 pieces of candy being involved, we take this seriously and are appalled that anyone would be so demented as to want to hurt children in our community.”
It is unclear which street or home the tainted candy came from.
ProMedica Fostoria Community Hospital is offering parents free candy X-rays between 9-11am or 5-7pm.
