Shooting At Dallas Trail Ride Leaves One Dead

Dallas police are investigating a shooting that left one man dead and several others injured early Sunday morning.

The shooting happened around 12:13 a.m. during a trail ride & concert at the 5000 block of Cleveland Rd.

Officers responded to the call to find the victim, Kealon Dejuane Gilmore, 26 unresponsive near the stage with a gunshot wound to the head.

Emergency crews arrived and pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

While investigating officers learned that 11 people were transported by personal vehicle and ambulance to area hospitals.

One victim was listed in critical condition and the others were treated for non life threatening injuries.

It was stated that an individual at the event fired a gun in the air and another individual fired back into the crowd.

Investigators are working to determine what led up to the shooting.

No suspect(s) have been arrested at this time.
