Shooting On Mockingbird Ln Leaves 2 Men Dead

An investigation is underway after a shooting near Lovefield, in Dallas, left two men dead.

Around 2 p.m. officers responded to a shooting call in a parking lot on W. Mockingbird Lane. Upon arriving officers found two men with gunshot wounds.

One man was pronounced dead at the scene and another was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.

While investigating officers learned that the suspect 43 year old Roy Bell and the victim 26 year old Dmarcus Lott had gotten into an argument that escalated.

It is believed that Bell shot and killed Lott before turning the gun on himself. Bell later died from his injuries.

This investigation remains ongoing.
