Standoff With Mesquite Swat Ends With One Person In Custody

A high speed chase involving Mesquite and Dallas police ended with the suspect barricading himself on Flamingo Way and Bahamas early Monday morning.
Apparently the suspect assaulted his ex and was said to have an ax with him.
Mesquite police were able to arrest the man without incident.
