A 16 year old has been charged with murder after a 12 year old overdosed on fentanyl pills last year.
The incident happened on November 14,2020 when Dalilah Guerrero,12 thought she was snorting crushed Percocet pills.
Her friends were filming as she snorted three-quarters of a single “M-30” pill containing fentanyl. The girl then passed out and began snoring.
Authorities were called and the girl was transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead.
As of Tuesday San Jose police arrested and charged a 16 year old male that distributed the pills to the young girl.
The unidentified teen is being held in a juvenile facility.
