Texas Man Charged After Driving With BBQ Pit Blazing In Truck

On January 5, Jay Rojas, 39, was arrested after he was driving with a lit bbq pit in the bed of his truck. It ended up causing a large fire.

After a field sobriety test was conducted in the 21400 block of Aldine Westfield Road in Humble, Texas, Rojas was determined to be intoxicated. Authorities say that he was also in possession of cocaine.

Rojas was taken to the Harris County Jail. He has been charged with driving while intoxicated and possession of a controlled substance.

Rojas doesn’t have a bond as of yet.
