Two people have been hospitalized after a shooting occurred in Deep Ellum on Saturday evening.
Police in Dallas say that a physical altercation happened between a group of people, close to 11:30 p.m. As this went on, shots were fired.
When police arrived on the scene, they discovered two people had been shot, and they were transported to a medical facility with non-life threatening wounds.
One woman was apprehended, and another was seriously hurt from being pistol-whipped.
Three people suspected to be involved in the incident were detained.
An investigation is on-going.
