Dallas police are investigating a shooting that left a woman dead Sunday.
Officers responded to a shooting call at a residence, around 4:40pm on the 7700 block of Los Gatos Dr.
Upon arrival they found a black woman unresponsive inside her home, from what appeared to be a gunshot wound.
Emergency crews arrived and pronounced the woman dead at the scene.
On Tuesday, March 22 a Dallas Medical Examiner ruled the woman’s death a homicide.
The woman’s identity has not been released at this time.
The motive and circumstances surrounding the shooting are still under investigation.
