Woman Survives 30-Foot Fall After Crash

6.1kviews

27 year-old Leslie Reese was thrown off a bridge in Atlanta on I-85 and fell 30 feet below.

As she stood outside of her disabled Chevrolet Cruze, in the emergency lane, she was talking on the phone with a friend who would be picking her up. A car then crashed into her, resulting in her fall.

Reese was taken to a medical facility where she went into surgery and had broken bones throughout her body.

“That’s my baby girl. I’m just in disbelief that my daughter fell off that bridge. I just can’t believe that she fell off that bridge and survived,” her father stated.

Authorities say that Horace Dilliard Jr. was racing another vehicle, speeding, and going in and out of lanes in traffic. He slammed into another car that caused Reese to plummet.

Dilliard is charged with reckless conduct, driving too fast for conditions, and serious bodily injury by vehicle.
