On a recent podcast, Natalie Joy and Nick Viall were discussing the worst dates they’ve been on when Joy shared a jaw-dropping story.
Joy, who is currently pregnant and engaged to The Bachelor’s Nick Viall, reflected on a time she went on a date and was stuck with the $1,600 bill.
She explained how she accepted a dinner invite and went out to eat with a man at a nice restaurant. According to Joy, her date insisted on ordering “every appetizer”, before they ordered their entrees, and he even continued ordering from the dessert menu.
When it was time to pay, the man said he had to take a phone call and stepped away. After about 20 minutes of waiting, Joy went to see what was happening but her date was nowhere to be found.
She says she was left with a $1,600 bill to pay and she’ll never forget how shocked and embarrassed she was.
