An Amber Alert for a missing 13-year-old was cancelled after being safely found in Reading, Pennsylvania.
Around 2 a.m., on August 31, Janae Kalia-Henry was abducted by a man identified as Duane Taylor inside her home on the 500 block of South Court.
She was last seen being placed inside a silver Chevy Traverse with Pennsylvania plates on Schuylkill Avenue.
Taylor was arrested in Brooklyn.
“We don’t believe that this was a random kidnapping,” Reading Police Chief Richard Tornielli said. “We believe this individual was kidnapped by someone that she may have known or had known her. The neighborhood is safe and there is no danger to the public.”
Taylor is in custody in New York and facing state charges.
