On the evening of December 6, 2023, Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics K9 Interdiction Agents attempted to stop a driver. The individual was traveling southbound on Interstate 35 and pulled over for a traffic violation.

The driver, identified as Son Bui of Arlington, Texas, initially refused to pull over. He appeared to be attempting to deploy spikes designed to deflate the tires of the pursuing OBN Agents. He was eventually stopped and a search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of 162 pounds of black market marijuana that was being trafficked to Texas.

Bui was transported and booked into the Garvin County Jail. This investigation is on-going. The suspect led the police on a short chase prior to his arrest.
