Two men have been taken into custody after a teen was fatally shot in Winter Haven, Florida, in December.

19-year-old Alan Javon Morris and 20-year-old Alan Crisp, have been charged in the death of 17-year-old Conrad Holoway.

On Dec. 19, officers discovered Holaway dead inside a residence in the 2500 block of Zelina Point.

Documents show that one of the suspects, Morris, had been residing at the residence, temporarily, for many weeks. But, a few days prior to the shooting, Morris was told that he wouldn’t be able to stay in the home anymore. This led to several disputes between the two.

Holaway’s relatives reported that they heard gunshots at around 3 a.m. However, when they went to go check things out, they hadn’t observed anything.

Detectives say that a little later in the day, the parents went to Holaway’s bedroom and found that he had been fatally shot.

They later learned that Morris had gone to the home, saw Holaway, and shot him multiple times through the window.

On January 12, Morris was apprehended for first-degree murder.

Then, on January 15, Crisp was arrested and charged with premeditated murder.

Both men are being held in the Seminole County Jail without bond.
