3 Dead After Multiple “Chain-Reaction” Accidents In Richardson

At 5:00 AM February 2, Richardson Police Department responded to a crash on N. Central Expressway.

The driver of a Honda motorcycle and the driver of a Suzuki motorcycle were traveling northbound on 75 when they crashed into each other.

Both drivers were ejected from their motorcycles and landed in the lanes of traffic.

The drivers were transported to the hospital where one succumbed to his injuries and was pronounce deceased.

While attempting to avoid the accident, a tanker truck and a Toyota sedan collided with each other. The driver of the sedan died at the scene.

At approximately 6:15 AM, while investigating the accident, another accident happened a few feet away. The driver of a Toyota pickup was northbound in the HOV lane when his vehicle was struck by a Honda Accord that changed lanes from the left lane to the HOV lane.

The driver of the Honda Accord was transported to the hospital and pronounced deceased.

Crash investigators are continuing with the investigations.

The identity of the victims has not been released.
