Authorities say that three sisters from Oklahoma are connected to a 2018 shooting in Walker County, Alabama.

In 2021, the sisters from Tulsa were found guilty of multiple charges. This was in connection to shots being fired at a Florida man and his spouse. It happened as the couple sat in a vehicle at a convenience store.

Tierzah Mapson, 29, has been given 60 months in prison for conspiracy to commit interstate stalking. She was also charged with discharging a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence, and interstate stalking.

Elisa Mapson, 25, and Charis Mapson, 33, were both given 120 months in prison for conspiracy to commit interstate stalking. They were also charged with discharging a firearm in furtherance of crime of violence and two counts of stalking.

In it was revealed that Tierzah Mapson and the male victim had a child together in 2013. Court documents note that the couple traveled to Alabama, thinking that Tierzah Mapson and the child were traveling from Oklahoma. They stayed at a store for more than four hours to pick the child up. Tierzah Mapson texted the couple, telling them about delays.

Close to 5:40 p.m., the victim heard gunfire, and one bullet went through the trunk of his car. The father was struck in the shoulder, and the bullet went inside of his chest.

Surveillance camera footage revealed that the father tried twice to get out of his vehicle as more shots rang out. Once the couple went inside of the store, the shooting came to a halt.

The father was transported to a medical facility in Tuscaloosa. There, he was treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The shots came from a rifle from a wooded hill behind a church that was close by, police say.
