33-year-old Rebecca Auborn, of Franklin County, Ohio, is said to have met men for sex and then fatally drugged them in order to steal their belongings.
On Wednesday, Auborn was indicted on four counts of murder for drugging the men in Columbus, earlier this year.
Auborn is also said to have attacked another man in December, but he survived the attempted overdose.
Documents show that Auborn has one living child and no prior criminal history.
Authorities believe there are other victims and have warned the public not to “buy sex in Ohio.” They have now identified Auborn as a serial killer. Police added that they were first alerted to the string of deadly overdoses and robberies through an anonymous tip.
By September, Auborn was charged and pled guilty to murder and drug-related offenses. This was for the January death of one of the men, 30-year-old Joseph Crumpler.
In that matter, Auborn confessed to authorities in Columbus that she had put fentanyl in the man’s crack pipe after meeting him for sex.
Reports indicate that she told police that she was aware that he was overdosing but still took his car and debit card.
Auborn has now been charged with four counts of involuntary manslaughter, five counts of aggravated robbery, five counts of felonious assault, and five counts of corrupting another with drugs. She has also been charged with tampering of evidence and four counts of trafficking in drugs, all felonies.
