Dallas police are investigating a shooting that left a man dead Thursday evening.
Officers responded to a shooting call around 7:00 p.m. on the 3400 block of Harmon Street.
Upon arrival they found the victim, Karl Arthur Hollins Jr., 38 laying in the street suffering from a gunshot wound.
He was transported to an area hospital where he died from his injuries.
The motive and circumstances surrounding the shooting are being investigated. This shooting investigation remains ongoing.
