6-Year-Old Girl Found Unharmed After Car Was Stolen While She Was Inside

On Tuesday night, a woman’s car was stolen with a child inside outside of a pizza restaurant in Philadelphia. The mother had left the car running while retrieving her order.

An Amber Alert was issued on Wednesday morning. Two hours later, 6 year-old Sahara Little was located after a driver recognized her mother’s burgundy Toyota Scion. The vehicle was in a Checkers’ parking lot and had already been reported stolen.

The driver assisted the young girl that was left in the abandoned vehicle, by walking her across the road to the police department. There, she was reunited with her mother, police say. She was also transported to a hospital to ensure she wasn’t hurt in anyway.

There has been no update on whether anyone has been arrested or if there is a suspect that authorities are searching for.
