9-Year-Old Boy Accidentally Kills Teen With Gun

Close to 5 p.m., on Saturday, a 17-year-old boy died after an unintentional shooting occurred in Philadelphia.

The 17-year-old and a 9-year-old were in a room with a BB gun and a handgun. The 9-year-old retrieved the handgun and shot the teen.

Authorities have stated that the younger boy didn’t know that the gun had bullets inside of it.

The teen was taken to a hospital but succumbed to his injuries after being listed in critical condition.

A girl, 7, had fled the home and injured her foot. She was transported to a medical facility and was in stable condition.

An investigation is still taking place.
