Accused child rapist Jeremy Guthrie pulled over for DUI with 6 kids in his car, claimed they were his ‘friends’

An alleged child rapist was found  driving around with six children in his car after being pulled over for driving under the influence.

Jeremy Guthrie, then 41, was stopped by police on a New Mexico highway July 5, 2022 after he was seen driving erratically.

When officers  opened the vehicle door they were stunned to find young boys and girls in the backseat – with Jeremy, he claimed they were “his friends”

He was given a sobriety test by an officer who asked : “Have you ever suffered a traumatic brain injury?” because he was slurring his words.

Guthrie could be seen having difficulty finding his driver’s license as one officer said: “There’s your wallet right there, between your legs.”

At one point, Guthrie was baffled by the preliminary question “Have you ever suffered a traumatic brain injury?”

Jeremy  then gave the officer his wallet, which contained the driving license, saying: “Sorry, just a little bit nervous.”

He stepped outside the car, the zipper of his pants was unbuttoned as he began to protest his innocence about being drunk.

There were opened bottles of tequila and Fireball whiskey in the car.

Police arrested him and charged him with a DUI, and six counts of child abuse.

Once he was transported to the police station, Jeremy was accused of raping the 12-year-old girl who was found inside of his vehicle the child also suffered a miscarriage during a year of alleged sexual abuse.

The girl’s twin sister who was also in the car, accused the suspect of sending her vulgar texts and talked about how he loved the sisters.

The girls’ grandmother told KRQE News 13:

“It makes me sick. I’m livid about what he did to my granddaughters”.  “And he’s just a very, very sick person.”

Guthrie has been charged with raping at least one other underage girl, according reports.

The parents o the children arrived to the scene to pick their children.

It was later uncovered that the twin girls’ grandmother  told authorities that he’d been allegedly  sexually abusing her grandchildren for over a year after meeting them on Snapchat.

The grandmother said Guthrie recorded at least one of the assaults, as well as using cocaine, methamphetamine, and owned numerous guns.

He is  currently awaiting trial for the alleged rape of the twin girls in Albuquerque’s Metropolitan Detention Centre, said to records. He plead no contest to the charges.
