AMC theatres announced they will reopen more than 100 locations Thursday August 20.
The worlds largest movie theater closed its doors in March due to COVID and decided to reopen its doors today while other main stream theatres such as Regal Cinemas and Alamo Drafthouse reopened last week.
Although AMC is reopening they will be following strict guidelines in order to maintain cleanliness throughout the theatre.
AMC is also requiring all guests to wear masks under its “Safe & Clean” initiative and capping theater capacity and upgrading ventilation systems.
Upon their grand reopening AMC will be selling movie tickets for only .15 all day.
