Arizona Cardinals’ cornerback, Jeff Gladney, died in a car accident in Dallas on Memorial Day.
The 25-year-old football player was a former TCU standout and first-round pick of the Minnesota Vikings.
The fatal crash took place on the service road of Woodall Rodgers Freeway early Monday morning when a speeding vehicle clipped another vehicle from behind. The speeding vehicle then lost control, hitting the beam underneath the highway. The vehicle was occupied by two people, one of which was Jeff Gladney. Both occupants died at the scene.
The second vehicle also had two people in it, but neither was seriously injured.
The investigation is still ongoing.
