A bloody cell phone was found near a park, in West Houston. This comes after a 24-year-old woman was reported missing by relatives after not being seen since April 15.
Now, her family is begging for help in trying to locate her.
Community Activist, Quanell X, stated that Felecia Marie Johnson had gone to Houston from California. She was trying to get hired at Cover Girls Night Club. It was reported that Johnson had ordered an Uber after exiting the club. But, when the Uber ride wasn’t there in time, a man at the club stated that he would take her to her destination.
Since then, there hasn’t been any trace of Johnson. No cell phone, credit card, or social media activity has been noted.
A private investigator, that was hired by the family, located Johnson’s cell phone, with blood all over it, on the side of the street. That was close to Bear Creek Park in West Houston.
“We believe that she is the victim of foul play. We believe that she’s being held against her will, and we will not stop looking,” Quanell X stated.
He has urged HPD to treat this matter as they would if it was a White woman who was missing.
“I’m trying to hold myself together to stand strong for the family and for you. And I won’t rest for a day in my life until I have you back. It’s a tragedy that you’ve been caught up in this,” her father, Kevin Johnson said.
HPD has said that they are taking the matter seriously and are performing a thorough investigation.
