Body Of Man Reported Missing In Arlington Found In Storage Unit

456views

An investigation is underway after a man’s body was discovered at a storage facility, in Arlington, Texas.

Detectives at the Public Storage facility on South Cooper St. believe that the man is 27 year old Debony Maffett. He is said to have been missing after not reporting to work on March 23. He was an Army veteran and currently employed as a store clerk. Maffett had shown up to work for every shift for years without missing one.

On March 27, the owner of the store and Maffett’s relatives began to get worried, and a missing person’s report was filed.

Although detectives in Arlington used drones and looked all over areas where Maffett could often be found, they couldn’t locate him.

To add, even though Maffett was capable of performing many tasks on his own, he suffered from some mental challenges. Often times, he would be found sleeping in a storage unit that he had leased.

Right now, it isn’t known how Maffett died.

A medical examiner will soon make a positive ID and determine his cause of death.
