After guns and drugs were discovered in a residence in Prince George County, Maryland, three gang members were arrested.

An investigation was conducted, for a month, in the 4000 block of Windflower Way, in Bowie, MD. There, on June 14, 10 guns, including untraceable AR-style assault rifles, “ghost guns,” and an AR pistol were seized. Also, 47.5 pounds of possible marijuana and records, showing fraudulent actions, were located.

Now, three men, thought to be a part of the “GMF Crew” gang, are facing charges such as armed drug trafficking, possession with the intent to distribute, and theft. They have been identified as 22-year-old Casheus Covington, 24-year-old Joseph Crawford, and 24-year-old Donnel Holloway. They had been working the operation out of a townhome.

Covington, a college basketball player and ex-local standout, is said to have been in possession of guns and ammunition. However, he isn’t permitted to be in possession of those items because he has been identified in a final protective order in another matter.
