Conroe ISD has identified the adult seen in a viral video beating a student while on a bus.
An investigation is underway after cellphone footage surfaced on Thursday showing a Conroe ISD employee getting repeatedly punching a student until he fell down.
The employee, who worked in Conroe ISD’s transportation department, was immediately terminated.
In a statement released to KHOU 11, the school district addresses the issue.
“Yesterday afternoon, we were made aware of an incident in which an employee in our Transportation Department physically attacked a student on a bus. We are disturbed by this unacceptable behavior which is not representative of our hundreds of hard-working transportation staff. The individual is no longer employed by the District, and the Conroe ISD Police Department is completing their investigation with the expectation of pursuing criminal charges.”
It’s not clear what led to the physical altercation.
I guarantee the kid was being lippy and obnoxious.  Probably for a long time. Parents dont teach their children manners or to respect adults. Probably got the beating he LONG DESERVED.
No deserves to be beaten, especially a child!!
It doesn’t matter if the student was lippy and being disrespectful, the employee should have reported. There was no reason for him to punch that child continuously. That is unexpectable.
You cannot punch a child, if you can’t handle a child in a proper way please get another job not working with children ‼️
