A Dallas Police Task Force Officer was shot Thursday morning while executing a capital murder arrest warrant.
The shooting happened around 6 a.m. on the 9900 block of Adleta Boulevard. While officers were executing the arrest warrant gunfire was exchanged between the suspect and officers.
The task force officer was shot in the leg and transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
The suspect was also shot and taken to a local hospital in critical condition.
No further details have been released at this time.
