In Polk County, Florida, a Substitute teacher Jerron Dunn, 33, has been arrested.  He faces serious charges after allegedly using Snapchat to send explicit videos of himself to two teenage students.
The Polk County Sheriff’s Office revealed that Dunn, a substitute English teacher at New Beginnings High School, is accused of committing a sex offense on a student by an authority figure and transmission of material harmful to a minor.
Two female students, aged 17 and 18, bravely approached their guidance counselor with the troubling information. Dunn added himself to their snapchat accounts while they used his charger in the classroom.
Allegedly, Dunn then proceeded to send inappropriate messages and explicit videos after the students refused his advances.
Disturbingly, Dunn has reportedly confessed to engaging in inappropriate conversations with both victims via Snapchat. Authorities have indicated that further charges may be pending, as forensic analysis of Dunn’s cell phone is needed.
The school and law enforcement agencies are actively investigating the matter, emphasizing the need for stringent measures to prevent such incidents in educational settings.
