Krispy Kreme Lowers The Price Of A Dozen Doughnuts To Match U.S. Gas Prices

1.4kviews

On Monday, Krispy Kreme announced that a dozen Original Glazed doughnuts will cost the average price of regular gas in the U.S.

“We know that everyone could use a little doughnut deflation to sweeten the recent pain at the pump. So, for the next four Wednesdays, we are helping you fill your tank with Original Glazed Dozens by pricing them at the cost of the national average of 1 gallon of gas.”

The promotion will last every Wednesday, starting April 13 to May 5.

For April 13, the national average of a gallon of gas in the U.S. is $4.11. However, that changes weekly.

With the promotion, guests will be able to buy up to two dozen doughnuts. This can be done through the drive-thru or pick-up by ordering ahead of time through their app.

Each Monday, Krispy Kreme will display the national price for the dozen doughnuts on their Facebook and Twitter accounts, as well as their website.
