1.8kviews

On Tuesday, Dallas police received a call from a driver, stating that another driver shot at them in Plano.

The motorist was unharmed and continued to follow the suspected shooter as they went toward US 75 in Allen.

As the driver kept chasing, the alleged shooter exited the expressway and crashed into two cars. His car was no longer drivable, so the suspect got out and ran on foot. He hopped over numerous fences and ran through many residential yards.

Thirty minutes later, drones and police officers came on location and boxed the suspect, Vance Herbert, 32, in. He was taken into custody.

However, no weapon was located in the vehicle or on his person. Authorities are investigating whether there was actually a gun. The other driver could have been fleeing for his life over a big mistake.

Herbert was apprehended for leaving the scene of a crash and evading authorities.
