Vinath Oudomsine, from Dublin, Georgia, has been sentenced to three years in prison. This comes after he illegally got a PPP loan and used over $57,000 from it to purchase a trading card featuring Pokémon character, Charizard.

As a part of the plea agreement, Oudomsine will have to give up the expensive, collectable card.

In October, Oudomsine had pleaded guilty to one count of wire fraud. Authorities say that he gave fake information to the U.S. Small Business Administration when he submitted an application for COVID-19 relief. He had said that he needed the funds for an entertainment company that he owned. Oudomsine had been untruthful about how many employees he had and how much money he was making.

Prosecutors disclosed that Oudomsine had received $85,000 from the loan. He then purchased the Pokemon trading card for $57,789.
