Joseph Fielding, 33, is a known member of the Aryan Brotherhood by North Carolina Department of Corrections. He was apprehended on Sunday and charged with sexually abusing a relative.
Fielding has been charged with incestuous against children under the age of 13 and statutory rape of the first degree. To add, his charges include licentious liberties and statutory rape of a 13/14/15-year-old by an offender six years older.
In North Carolina, the incest crime is a Class B1 felony. Therefore, if found guilty, Fielding could be sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole just for that one crime.
He is currently being held in the Rowan County Detention Center on a $300,000 safe bond.
Fielding had previously been in trouble for domestic violence and gun offenses. At that time, he was confirmed to be a member of the Aryan Brothers by the North Carolina Department of Corrections.
Altogether, Fielding has been incarcerated six different times. After serving seven months in prison prior to this time, he was released in Nov. 2021.
On Monday, Fielding will make his first court appearance.
