Terry and Brenda Aultman, a married couple, were discovered dead on the side of a road in Florida. They had been viciously stabbed.
The couple, from Daytona Beach, was last known to be taking a bike ride home from an annual Bike Week celebration when they were found on Sunday.
After being alerted, emergency crews found the victims covered in blood with many cuts to their bodies, including the neck, around 2 a.m. Terry, 48, was discovered facedown, and Brenda, 55, was on her back. The bikes were close by and are being used as evidence.
An autopsy will determine the couple’s actual cause of death.
Police are currently looking for a person of interest. He was wearing a cowboys hat, red gloves, tan boots, a scarf, light-colored pants, and he may have had a backpack.
The couple had just recently moved to their dream home six months ago in Daytona Beach.
