Monkey Wearing Bullet Proof Vest Also Died in Deadly Mexico Shootout With Authorities

A monkey wearing a bullet proof vest was found deceased at the scene of a bloody shootout between drug cartel and police.

Federal forces and the Familia Michoacana cartel were involved in a shootout in Texcaltitlan, Mexico. As an aftermath, 11 gang members were killed and three law enforcement officers were injured.

Exotic animals that belonged to the cartel such as a bengal tiger was seen roaming the streets shortly after.

A monkey wearing a bulletproof vest was also located after the gunfire diminished. The monkey appeared to have died in the arms of his owner, who was one of the cartel members.

Once law enforcement officials gained control of the area, a monkey wearing a bulletproof vest was found on the scene. It is believed to have died in the arms of its owner, a cartel member who was also killed during the shooting.

Officials in Texcaltitlan are working towards adding animal trafficking charges against the Familia Michoacana gang members who survived the shootout.

browsers and both show the same outcome.

  2. Sweet blog! I found it while searching on Yahoo News.
Do you have any tips on how to get listed in Yahoo News?
I’ve been trying for a while but I never seem to get there!
