Chicago police are investigating a shooting that left a woman dead, three people injured, including a 2 year old.
Authorities responded to a shooting call on the 1200 block of West 81st Street, around 3:15 p.m., in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood.
Upon arrival they learned that four people had been standing outside when a black vehicle pulled up and unknown suspects got out and fired multiple rounds.
A 2 year old and his father were struck by the bullets along with the boys mother, who was shot multiple times, and a 62 year old man that was also shot.
All of the victims were taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center where the mother later died from her injuries. The other three victims are expected to survive.
No suspects have been arrested.
