It is almost for sure that gunshots that killed an 8 year-old girl, Fanta Bility, and wounded four more people at a football match, came from the Sharon Hill Police. The Delaware County District Attorney’s Office has revealed this information.
On August 27, several men began arguing which let to a shooting on the 900 block of Coates Street. The incident occurred about the same time people were leaving from observing a football game in a stadium at Academy Park High School.
Three police officers began shooting as they stood on the opposite side of the exit. They did so after a car turned right in front of them.
If applicable, the officers may face criminal charges. An investigation into the discharging of the officers’ weapons will be reviewed. Additionally, the officers have been placed on administrative leave pending the investigation.
Officials do believe that they know who the first suspects are. The goal is to locate and apprehend them.
