After police seized illegal drugs and weapons from residences in Phoenix and Mesa, Arizona, two men were apprehended.

Mesa police stated that officers with the “Violent Crime Reduction Project” were told that Anthony Vega, 52, was dealing drugs out of his home.

“Vega admitted to having multiple quantities of methamphetamine, heroin, and m-30 pills inside the residence,” police noted in a news release. “Vega also admitted to his intent to sell the illegal drugs.”

Altogether, authorities found 43.7 grams of heroin, 37.2 grams of meth, 4.4 grams of cocaine, and 23.1 grams of blue M30 pills. $5,440 in cash and 2 weapons were uncovered, as well.

Detectives say that Oscar Arrez, 32, was also in the home at the time. He confessed to dealing drugs out of his residence, too.

When police searched Arrez’s home, more was found. This includes 15,000 blue M30 pills, 12 guns, and $4,250. Two of the weapons had been reported stolen.

Vega and Arrez have been jailed on several drug and weapons charges.
