Road Rage Shooting In Garland Leaves Man Injured

Garland police are investigating a road rage incident that left a person injured Thursday night.
According to reports the incident happened on the 5700 block of Lavon Dr when they victim and his wife were driving northbound on Lavon Dr near Buckingham.
The victims wife says there was a crash ahead blocking two lanes and when she changed lanes she cut off a silver Dodge Ram that became upset and started tailgating them.
The suspect then pulled up next to the blue Honda and opened fire multiple times striking the passenger.
The suspect then sped off on Lavon towards George Bush Freeway.
The suspect was described as a heavyset possibly Hispanic male with no facial hair driving a four door silver Dodge Ram truck.
The victim was transported to a nearby hospital with non life threatening injuries.
