A robbery suspect was shot and killed late Tuesday night near SMU area by his victim.
According to reports Justin McNeely,18 says he noticed someone following him and when he went in his apartment the suspect pushed his way in and the two got into a struggle.
The unidentified robber pulled out a gun and both the robber and the suspect shot one another during the struggle.
McNeely was transported to a nearby hospital with non life threatening issues and is expected to survive.
The suspect was pronounced dead on the scene by emergency crews.
This investigation is ongoing.
