Shaq and Scottie Pippen’s Son Both Sign Deals With LA Lakers

After the NBA draft this week, the L.A. Lakers signed deals with two individuals whose fathers are among the best former NBA players in history.

Shareef O’Neil, son of Shaquille O’Neil, and Scotty Pippen Jr., son of Scottie Pippen, both signed deals to play on the Laker’s Summer League Squad.

Scotty, however, signed a two-way deal in which he has a good chance at signing for regular season as well.

Shareef played college basketball at UCLA and LSU, while Scotty played at Vanderbilt.

The NBA Summer League 2022 starts July 7.
