An investigation is underway after a shooting in downtown Dallas left one person dead and two others injured.
On July 30, around 2:30 a.m., officers responded to a shooting call at S. Pearl Expressway and Commerce Street. Upon arrival they found two men suffering from gunshot wounds.
Both men were transported to an area hospital where one of them died from their injuries and the other sustained non life threatening injuries.
While officers were investigating, another victim arrived at a hospital with an injury to his hand.
It is believed that an altercation broke out at a nearby club and escalated into gunfire.
Detectives are reviewing surveillance footage from the area and speaking with witnesses to determine what led up to the shooting.
No arrest have been made.
