On July 5, Dallas police responded to a shooting call on the 4600 block of Village Fair Drive shortly after 2 a.m.
Upon their arrival they located the victim, 19 year old Josef Treece, unresponsive on the ground with a gunshot wound.
Dallas Fire and Rescue arrived and pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
During the investigation officers learned that there was a second shooting victim that was transported to a local hospital in a private vehicle.
Apparently the two were passengers inside a vehicle when some sort of altercation broke out and shots were fired outside the vehicle.
A third male was struck and also taken to an area hospital by a private vehicle where he is said to be in stable condition.
At this time authorities have no suspect(s) and are working to determine what led up to the fatal shooting.
The gaslighting mayor keeps telling us Dallas is a safe city! I’m afraid every day.
