Sunset Teacher Dies from Unknown Illness, COVID-19?

Well known Dallas, ISD English teacher from Sunset High, died Sunday from an illness.
Miles Warnock,65 had been living in Oak Cliff since 1976.
Although he was from Southern Mississippi, as a child he and his brother would spend time in Oak Cliff once they graduated from Baylor University they both decided they would live in Oak Cliff.
After settling in, Miles Warnock had decided to become a middle school teacher and his brothers say that he had been working for over twenty years for D.A. Hulcy Middle School.
Once retired, he was offered the position as a permanent substitute teacher at Sunset High, he accepted and continued to work there for a few years..
Kirby Warnock stated that his death was too sudden. “It was pretty unexpected”.
Although it is unknown whether or not Miles Warnock had died from COVID-19 or from another illness, an autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death.
