Jonathan Walker, a teenager from Florida, has been accepted to 27 colleges and universities. Additionally, he has been given over $4 million in scholarships.

“Time after time, I would just say that it was a surprise. Just to see that they were interested in me… I wouldn’t say I got used to it. Each time, I got into a new school, it was a ton of excitement,” Walker stated.

Jonathan enjoys studying science and is a part of the varsity football team. He also has a YouTube channel where he shows a device he created. It “addresses issues around prescription drugs and an internal combustion engine filter.”

Some of the schools that Walker has been accepted to include Harvard, MIT, John Hopkins, and Yale. He hasn’t decided where he will attend as of yet.

Walker plans to study electrical engineering and biomedical engineering. His goal is to create a device that will assist people who are disabled and underserved communities. He has already created a device to assist those who are visually and hearing impaired.

“I’ve had a very good awareness of all that he’s accomplished and seeing how hard he’s worked for everything that he’s done. He doesn’t settle for less than the best,” said a member of the staff at his high school.
