Texas Man Targets Single Moms on Dating Apps to Sexually Assault their Children

A Texas man has been targeting single moms through dating apps to spend time with their children and sexually abuse them.

According to Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, Epifanio Adolfo Jimenez, 42, specifically searched for women with children to date. He would create profiles under the name “Harley” on multiple dating platforms.

Once close enough to the women, Jimenez would take the opportunity and get close to the children as well.

Jimenez was first exposed when a 17-year-old girl came forward, claiming that he sexually assaulted her when she was 13. After she came forward, Jimenez was charged with sexual assault of a child.

The investigation began after she told her school counselors that she was sexually assaulted. She claimed her mother’s ex-boyfriend, Jimenez, had pinned her to a bed and raped her four years ago.

During the course of the investigation, Jimenez admitted to using the dating apps to target single moms.

Jimenez does not currently have a bond and has not yet entered a plea.

Investigators believe that Jimenez may have several victims. He is already on probation in Galveston County for online solicitation of a minor.
