Desiree White, a 32-year-old from Illinois, recently discussed her decision to divorce her husband. She then married a man who had been her friend. He also was the best man at her wedding.
It was reported that the man, Bryant, pronounced his love for White while toasting her and his former friend.
“I remember the first moment I saw Desiree. I loved her. I fell in love with her…knew she had to be mine. I thought she was the most beautiful person I’ve ever seen in my life,” White said that Bryant stated.
The woman added that Bryant discovered that she had a boyfriend when he met her. He then told himself that he was going to find a way to win her over. However, he soon became close friends with her now ex-husband.
White recalls being embarrassed at the confession during the 2010 wedding. She says that everyone giggled, and then there was silence.
She also remembers while having her first dance with her ex-husband, Bryant approached her and wanted to know why he never had an opportunity.
After being married a year, it just wasn’t working out.
White says that she and Bryant had a connection and felt it ever since his confession. They now are enjoying a life together, reminiscing on their journey.
